1. What is the criterion for qualification?
* Applicant must be a high school senior who is completing high school in the year of the application.

* Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA as determined by last grading period. Please submit official sealed copy of transcript.

* Applicant must have been an active participating member (in good standing) at his/her church for at least one year prior to applying.

* Applicant must be attending a 2-year or 4-year college, university, vocational, or technical school in the Fall of the year of the application.
2. When is my application due?
Complete application packets must be must be postmarked by Saturday, April 11, 2020. Please ensure that you submit your application in it’s entirety at least a few days ahead to ensure that it arrives on time.
3. When will I be notified if I am successful?
Congratulation letters are mailed to each successful recipient during the third week of April. Please ensure that an accurate and legible mailing address is listed on your application.
4. Can I still apply even if I haven't received my college acceptance letter yet?
Yes, you can still apply for the scholarship. But scholarship awards will not be disbursed without proof of enrollment. Your application should reflect where you intend to attend.
5. How do I receive my scholarship?
Awards will be mailed the third week of August. The Foundation must receive a copy of your class schedule or registration/verification receipt by the due date noted on the application.
6. Who should I ask to write my letter of recommendation?
For the purposes of this application, ask a counselor. Do not ask a friend or family member. A letter of recommendation is similar to a professional reference. Make sure your counselor can articulate your strengths and praise your accomplishments. Provide him/her a “Brag” sheet if necessary.
